Into the Sequoias

On day two, we made it up past Lake Isabella then into the Sequoia National Forest. Some incredibly beautiful riding through the mountains and forests of California. In one day we went through a huge variety of landscapes - from the rugged desert outside of Ojai through the fertile lime orchards and fields of fruits then into the dark green forest where the Sequoias grow.

Rode through Los Pedros

Today we made it through Ojai and the Los Pedros National Forest - what a gorgeous ride! Staying in Bakersfield tonight and then heading to Sequoias National Park tomorrow morning.

In Ojai for lunch

after a bit of a late start, we finally made it to Ojai for lunch, then on northward!

About to embark!

Today is the day we take off for the three day riding weekend in California! We have a vague idea about the direction we're headed in, but that's about it! An open road and three days without a schedule. How can you beat that?
